SAFETY
Anyone who has handled a firearm before knows that safety is paramount.
At the Marksman, we are serious about safety. We provide a safe, controlled environment that facilitates learning for all skill levels.
FIVE BASIC SAFETY RULES
1. Treat every weapon as if it were loaded
2. Never point the nuzzle at anything you are not willing to kill or destroy
3. Keep your finger off the trigger until your sights are on the target
4. Know your target and what's behind it
5. Always maintain control of your firearm
RANGE RULES AND PROCEDURES
• Upon entry ALL FIREARMS must be in a HOLSTER, CASE, BOX, or BAG.
• ABSOLUTELY NO handling of firearms or ammunition in the lobby or outside of a both
• Only handgun calibers BELOW .44 MAG are allowed. No shotguns or black powder
• Eye & ear protection is REQUIRED AT ALL TIMES on the range with no exceptions
• We reserve the right to remove anyone from the range due to safety violations
